A – Ok, Which IT Company ?

A – Ok…Means you are into property dealing ? Right ?
Me – No, not at all………………………………..( detailed explanation to A regarding Intellectual Property)
I think people engaged in the IP sector may have faced a similar crisis in conversation with the lay man. Till 5 to 6 Years before, I was also not aware about this Term.
“World IP Day” A celebration of creativity and innovative human brains. This day reminds us about how facing day to day challenges are made easier by the use of technology that is greatly protected through this IP sector and related laws.
But as per natural human tendency, My Mind asked Why only 26th as the World Intellectual Property Day ? With Research I came across that – World IP Day was established by WIPO ( World Intellectual Property Organization ). 26 April was chosen as the date for World Intellectual Property Day because it coincides with the date on which the Convention Establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization entered into force in 1970. World Intellectual Property Day is WIPO’s largest intellectual property (IP) public outreach campaign. On 9 August 1999, in a letter from Jiang Ying, Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China, the Chinese delegation proposed “that WIPO adopt the commemoration of its 30th anniversary of founding (26 April) as the “World Intellectual Property Day,” as an annual event.
In October 1999, at its 26th session, the General Assembly of WIPO approved the idea of declaring a particular day as a World Intellectual Property Day.
Lets pledge this World IP Day 2026 , to promote the awareness of intellectual property protection, expand its influence across the world, urge countries to publicize and popularize intellectual property protection laws and regulations, enhance the public legal awareness of intellectual property rights, encourage invention-innovation activities in various countries and strengthen international exchange in the intellectual property field.
